Job Summary
The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable labor regulations. The role requires a highly organized individual with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, certificates, and official documents.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and employee statistics.
- Support payroll preparation by ensuring HR data accuracy.
- Monitor employee attendance and leave records.
- Draft and update HR policies, procedures, and organizational documents.
- Ensure compliance with Iraqi Labor Law and internal HR policies.
- Coordinate training programs and employee development initiatives.
- Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar HR position.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of Iraqi Labor Law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition.
- Experience drafting HR policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with HRIS or HR management systems.
- Experience working in consulting or service-based companies.
