Business Partner is currently recruiting a Procurement Officer on behalf of one of our clients operating in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
📍 Location: Awerij Industrial Area – Baghdad
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from purchase requests to final delivery.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate competitive prices and favorable commercial terms.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders.
- Coordinate with warehouses and internal departments to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
Requirements
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
✔ 4–6 years of procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing or food industry.
✔ Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supply chain operations.
✔ Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
✔ Good command of the English language.
✔ Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
